It aims to be the world&#8217;s largest collection of freely accessible chemical information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PubChem facilitates the  search of chemicals by name, molecular formula, structure, and other identifiers. It provides information onchemical and physical properties, biological activities, safety and toxicity information, patents, literature citations and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PubChem mostly contains small molecules, but also larger molecules such as nucleotides, carbohydrates, lipids, peptides, and chemically-modified macromolecules.
